Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational readiness and transition planning for multi‑site, multi‑phase hospital redevelopment projects, including workflow redesign, readiness assessments, simulation planning, and activation preparation.
  • Assess clinical and operational impacts of construction, renovation, and activation activities; identify risks, gaps, and dependencies; and develop actionable mitigation strategies.
  • Develop high‑quality, tools, dashboards, and governance structures that support decision‑making and project oversight.
  • Engage and collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical leaders, project sponsors, redevelopment teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and shared understanding of project impacts.
  • Facilitate working groups and planning sessions, providing coaching and mentorship to strengthen organizational readiness and resilience.
  • Apply advanced project management methodologies to support planning, execution, monitoring, and documentation across complex redevelopment initiatives.
  • Oversee interdependencies across IT, clinical operations, facilities, and support services to ensure seamless integration of new systems, workflows, and technologies.
  • Provide expert advice on crisis management, contingency planning, and operational risk reduction during periods of disruption.
  • Prepare concise written reports and deliver presentations to client teams, ensuring clarity, insight, and value‑added recommendations.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Strategic, systems‑level thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Deep healthcare operational knowledge with the ability to identify options, alternatives, and solutions that support client objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust‑based relationships and lead diverse teams through change.
  • Experienced in stakeholder engagement, change leadership, conflict resolution, and coaching.
  • Innovative, adaptable, and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity in fast‑paced environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including advanced use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
  • Comfortable working in a mobile, multi‑site environment with flexibility for travel and extended hours as required.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitals, including oversight of clinical or clinical support services.
  • Demonstrated Director‑level experience in operational readiness for brownfield and greenfield redevelopment projects.
  • Proven success leading large, complex, multi‑year redevelopment initiatives involving IT integration, workflow redesign, and operational transformation.
  • Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation; Lean certification an asset.
  • Current registration with a clinical regulatory body if applicable (e.g., CNO, CMRITO, CPSO).
  • Experience with simulation‑based readiness planning, digital health implementation, or clinical informatics is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort working across office and client sites.
Pay Range
  • Locations Outside of Lower Mainland – BC & Various locations in Ontario: $96,800.00 – $145,200.00 Annually
  • Locations in Lower Mainland – BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario: $102,600.00 – $153,900.00 Annually
