Job summary

A client based in Brampton is looking for an Office Admin to join their team. The ideal candidate will report to the Office Manager and ensure scheduling of deliveries, prepare reports, and operate QuickBooks, MS Office, and WMS. Successful candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in a production office environment and possess strong communication and organizational skills. An asset would be familiarity with SAP. This position offers an opportunity to contribute in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of work experience in a production environment (office space).
  • Fluent communication both verbal and written in English.
  • Advanced computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all deliveries are scheduled with the shipping department.
  • Prepare reports and operate QuickBooks, MS Office, and WMS.
  • Ensure all prepared shipments are properly identified and staged.
  • Notify Quality Dept. of any quality issues found.

Job description

Our client based out of Brampton, ON is looking to add an Office Admin to their team.

The ideal candidate will be working in a production office environment and will report to the Office Manager.

  • Ensure all deliveries are scheduled in liaison with the shipping department.
  • Prepare reports and operate QuickBooks, MS Office, and WMS. (SAP knowledge is an asset)
  • Ensuring all prepared shipments are properly identified and moved to the dock area to be staged for pickup in a timely manner.
  • Ensure material handling equipment is used in accordance with the relevant work instructions.
  • Ensure all stock is located accurately in the proper locations.
  • Ability to stop any order packing or shipment if any quality opportunity is found in either the product and/or containers. Quality Dept. is to be notified immediately.
  • Stay in touch with the Inventory and Shipping Supervisor.
  • Support other team members, and customers during holiday periods and sickness.
  • Maintain/Implement 5S standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a production environment (office space)
  • Fluent communication both verbal and written (English)
  • Advanced computer skills, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn new company provided softwares.
