What you will do
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary clinical team to provide therapeutic support in both educational and residential settings.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualised interventions and engagement plans for young people.
  • Work integrally with school and home staff, ensuring therapeutic support is enmeshed into everyday interactions.
  • Provide expert consultation, run workshops, and deliver training for the educational and residential teams.
  • Be an influential and effective role model and leader, guiding teams to nurture clinically informed living and learning environments.
  • Manage responsibilities efficiently, initiating improvements where necessary, and ensuring positive outcomes for young people.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC and have experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs. You should possess a dynamic and engaging personality, be highly organised, and have a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
