A community-focused health service provider in Ontario is seeking a Mental Health/Psychotherapist. The position offers flexible working hours in a hybrid environment and involves working directly with clients. Candidates should be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and possess experience in mental health therapy. Modern OT is a community-based occupational therapy practice servicing Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Established in 1998, Modern OT has grown to be a team with more than 40 OTs, has broadened virtual and group therapy services, and has established OT clinics in Ottawa, Kingston, and Pembroke. In 2022, Modern OT partnered with Lifemark Health Group, which has led to further expansion of services offered to clients, including veterans and Canadian Forces members, First Responders, and other individuals facing physical and mental health barriers to their daily life.
This role can involve working directly with clients in the community, in clinic, or virtually. Caseloads include a range of functional assessments and treatment interventions.
Special Consideration will be given to occupational therapists with experience in mental health and psychotherapy. We can offer psychotherapy supervision through our dedicated Clinical Leadership Team to assist with professional development and regular practice support in this area.
