A health service organization in Alberta seeks Nursing Support Workers to assist registered nurses in delivering high quality, person-centered care for patients with mental health issues. Ideal candidates will have SVQ Level 2 in health and social care and effective communication skills. AfC Band 3 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,750.47 per annum (pro rata) and a High Secure Clinical Responsibility Allowance of £4,201.29 per annum (pro rata). Hours: Full Time and Part Time. Contract Duration: Permanent and Fixed Term Opportunities. We are excited to announce a great opportunity to join our nursing team. You will support registered nursing staff to deliver high quality, person-centred care for patients with mental health illness and learning disability in a forensic environment.
You will support registered nursing staff to deliver high quality, person-centred care for patients with mental health illness and learning disability in a forensic environment. You will carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment and contribute to multidisciplinary team working. You will have a working knowledge of basic information technology.
Successful candidates will work a 4 days on and 2 days off shift pattern, with shifts generated up to 12 weeks in advance. Applicants may also be rostered to work Night Duty, and on average a 75-hour fortnight when on Night Duty.
