Nurse Practitioner - Next Step (HoLAA)

Salary: SRN Level 7 $164,360

Profile

The Nurse Practitioner – Next Step Services provides an advanced clinical service working autonomously and in collaboration with other health professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage a patient’s health status in accordance with National legislation. Responsibilities include advanced physical assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating referrals to relevant health providers, prescribing appropriate medications and other therapies as needed, and providing clinical leadership and consultancy to medical, nursing and allied health care professionals within Next Step Services. The Nurse Practitioner practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart. Ongoing credentialing to a scope of specialty practice is a requirement for all nurse practitioners.
