What you bring
  • BS/AS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or Finance with prior project management experience
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in either the elevator industry or in a related building systems industry
  • Full understanding and proven adherence to FF+
  • Strong experience in the use of SPN and other Schindler NI/MOD management tools
  • Experience in an operational role (Service Leader, Project Manager)
  • Ability to use analytical tools, such as Excel
  • Working across multiple departments and teams
  • Track record of continuous improvements and developing new processes to improve business issues
  • Full understanding and practical implementation / auditing of all Schindler (and industry) safety policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of installation methods & processes and general site working practices
  • Experience in training and coaching others in an engaging and efficient manner
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization: Possess excellent organization skills with the ability to balance high volume of activities and changing priorities
  • Problem Solving: Information seeking and achievement orientation, ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively
  • Teamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and foster a teamwork relationship
Responsibilities
  • New Installations (NI), Modernizations (MOD) & Existing Installations (EI) Methods & Process Manager analyzes, adapts, deploys, and monitors the use of Schindler Group and Local consolidated methods and processes to grant top quality and cost-effective installation and maintenance.
  • Act as technical competence center for NI, MOD and EI as the KG Key-User (KU) for all processes and applications; support branches to achieve efficiency targets through implementation of consolidated tools and processes; evaluate standard hours and ensure acceptance; launch / implement new or adapted methods; document all developments in NI installation methods.
  • Collaborate with Documentation & Field Information to document all developments; assist with configuration, use, and reporting of maintenance tools; be key user of the Field Management Tool (IPT) and facilitate training as needed.
  • Identify and deploy internal Best Demonstrated Practices (BDPs) and lead continuous improvement initiatives for all operational areas.
  • Ability to roll-out and conduct training for new users or updates to existing users.
