One of the flagship projects you will contribute to is the Alto High-Speed Rail Project, connecting Quebec City to Toronto, as an experienced partner within the Cadence consortium. This consortium includes CDPQ Infra, AtkinsRéalis, SYSTRA Canada, Keolis Canada, Air Canada, and SNCF Voyageurs, and was selected by the Canadian government to develop the project following a rigorous bidding process.

Your Role

In this position, you will make a vital contribution to a wide range of environmental assessment and management projects. This may include planning, coordinating, and conducting biological studies to ensure regulatory compliance according to established protocols and methodologies. You will be exposed to our broader biology programs while having the opportunity to specialize and develop your expertise.

Your daily activities may include environmental field monitoring and ecological characterization, habitat assessments, preparation of monitoring and mitigation plans, conducting literature reviews, preparing permit applications, performing field inspections, and contributing to technical reports that support decision-making.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental biology or a related field, with field experience in planning, conducting, and/or managing biological studies (e.g., wildlife, vegetation, wetlands, fish and habitat studies).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license.
