Position: MRO Coordinator / Maintenance Planner

Location: Windsor, Ontario Plant

Job Summary:

Responsible for the safety of maintenance personnel, upkeep of equipment records, and building maintenance across the plant.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively and understand maintenance and workflow processes.
  • Create and manage Preventative Maintenance work orders using Megamation System software.
  • Manage inventory and ordering through computer programs like MRO.
  • Solicit quotes from suppliers as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments and assist in scheduling maintenance activities.
  • Train team members on Megamation work order processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/TS16949 standards.
  • Oversee inventory logging, organize the tool crib, and manage parts on hand.
  • Track downtime and implement improvements based on data analysis.
  • Maintain proper inventory placement for easy access.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving drop boxes daily.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations.
  • Participate in safety inspections, incident response, and safety meetings.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and report unsafe conditions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • College Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years in procurement or a similar role with a solid understanding of procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
