About Aeroex Technologies

Aeroex Technologies is a North American manufacturer of industrial air filtration and mist collection systems engineered for metalworking and manufacturing environments. With over 25 years of experience, we design high-performance equipment that improves air quality, protects workers, and supports efficient production.

We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support product development, engineered applications, and continuous improvement across our equipment line.

The Role

This is a practical, hands‑on engineering role working across mechanical design, product development, and manufacturing support. You’ll contribute to new product development, upgrades to existing equipment, and engineered system applications that require real‑world integration thinking.

Preference given to candidates with industrial HVAC / air movement experience (ducting, airflow, fan selection, static pressure, ventilation, filtration systems, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for industrial equipment
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and production drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Support engineered applications: layouts, integration constraints, ducting/airflow considerations, service access, and installation requirements
  • Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability, cost, and reliability
  • Support production and service teams with troubleshooting and technical guidance
  • Participate in prototype builds, testing, and validation; document results and implement improvements
  • Manage engineering documentation: BOMs, revision control, and engineering releases
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with electrical/controls and operations for mechanical integration and product execution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across performance, noise, durability, and ease of assembly/service
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 3–7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered products
  • Solid CAD capability (SolidWorks preferred) and ability to produce production‑ready documentation
  • Strong understanding of fabrication/manufacturing methods (sheet metal, welding, machining, fasteners, finishes)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear communication skills and effective collaboration in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred:
  • Industrial HVAC / ventilation / air handling experience (airflow, static pressure, fan curves, ducting, filtration)
  • Experience with industrial filtration, dust collection, or air movement equipment
  • Familiarity with CSA/UL considerations and industrial safety design
Why Join Aeroex?
  • Competitive compensation
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits
  • Profit‑sharing program
  • Professional development support
  • Stable, growing company with strong market demand
  • Work on real industrial products with tangible impact
