Night Manager - McCafé ADM Montréal

Location: 975 Roméo-Vachon Avenue, Montréal Airport, QC
Position Type: Full-time, permanent (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Night shift
Salary: $35.20 / hour

About the Position

This is a permanent full-time role. We are seeking an experienced, structured, and autonomous night manager to oversee McCafé's nighttime operations in a demanding airport environment. The role requires strong team management, high operational discipline, and continuous attention to the maintenance of specialized McCafé equipment and deep cleaning of the restaurant during closing hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise McCafé operations during the night shift, in compliance with airport-specific safety and regulatory standards
• Rigorously manage the night team, ensuring adherence to internal procedures and airport requirements
• Train staff on tasks, hygiene, and safety standards
• Ensure quality control standards are met
• Set work schedules and ensure they are followed
• Maintain records of inventory, sales, losses, and repairs
• Order food and supplies needed for production
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen and service staff activities
• Handle customer complaints and operational issues
• Write and submit required reports
• Perform deep cleaning of McCafé during closing hours: surfaces, production areas, equipment, floors, and drains
• Ensure regular maintenance and proper functioning of McCafé-specific equipment, distinct from other restaurants in the chain
• Identify technical issues and follow up with relevant teams
• Enforce hygiene, sanitation, safety, and maintenance procedures

Desired Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in food service or team management
• Structured leadership and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
• Physical endurance: prolonged standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling
• Good physical condition and attention to detail
• Intermediate French and English
• Criminal background check required (as per airport environment regulations)
