A leading shipbuilding company in Dartmouth, Canada, seeks a Materials Management Coordinator to oversee logistics operations and maintain inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate holds a university degree and brings 2-5 years of related experience. Strong MS Office skills and excellent communication are essential. This full-time in-office position supports Canada's National Shipbuilder initiative.
The Materials Management Coordinator is integral to the success of daily operations relating to the movement and management of shipbuilding material. The Materials Management Coordinator will work closely with Warehouse Operations, Planning and Procurement and other internal departments. The Materials Management Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the effective and timely execution of logistic activities. This function shall strive to support an uninterrupted flow of material required by the project.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
