A leading transportation company in La Matanie is seeking a Marine Second Engineer to operate, maintain, and repair machinery in the engine room of the vessel George-Alexandre Lebel. This role requires a College Diploma in Marine Mechanical Engineering and a 2nd Class Marine Engineer certificate. In a safety-focused environment, the engineer will perform daily inspections and repairs, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards. Candidates must have at least one year of relevant experience and valid medical certification.

The Marine Second Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer and participates in the operation of the vessel George‑Alexandre Lebel, mainly by operating, maintaining, and repairing the machinery and equipment in the engine room. In addition, the position complies with the standards and procedures of CN's safety systems. Furthermore, the role performs other related tasks that may fall within the scope of the job.
The role is required to attend internal training to learn how CN’s operations work and the Company’s policies and procedures.
