S.i. Systems is hiring in Edmonton! We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing team of Account Executives. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving profitable, sustainable growth within your business unit, building strong executive-level client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
1. Drive Growth
- Lead and coach a team of Account Executives to achieve ambitious revenue and gross margin goals.
- Set informed, challenging, and achievable individual and team sales targets.
- Be hands-on when needed—prospecting , generating leads, running discovery sessions, developing proposals, and negotiating terms.
- Increase wallet share and recapture lost accounts through new client acquisition and retention strategies.
- Align product mix with appropriate delivery models and ensure pricing policies and profitability targets are met.
2. Be the Executive Client Contact
- Build and maintain high-level client relationships and act as the executive point of contact.
- Represent the company at business events, meetings, and community engagements to drive brand recognition.
3. Ensure Operational Excellence
- Oversee P&L and manage annual budgets to achieve revenue, gross profit, and other financial objectives.
- Monitor KPIs and costs to drive business results while maintaining compliance with company policies and controls.
- Track, analyze, and communicate progress against sales targets.
4. Lead and Develop Your Team
- Hire, coach, motivate, and develop Account Executives to drive new sales.
- Conduct monthly one-on-ones to review performance, identify growth opportunities, and support career development.
- Model best practices for sales calls, client dialogues, and performance standards.
5. Collaborate and Support
- Partner with marketing and delivery teams to identify new revenue streams and talent pipelines.
- Actively participate in corporate initiatives and provide feedback on process improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in staffing.
- Provide coverage for Regional Sales Manager as required.
What You Bring
- College diploma (or equivalent) and minimum 3 years’ proven experience leading and growing a successful B2B sales team.
- Strong track record of driving sales teams to achieve and exceed results.
- Experience managing budgets and meeting/exceeding quotas.
- Staffing industry experience is an asset.
- CRC or Train-the-Trainer designation an asset.
- University degree or additional post-secondary education an asset.
