About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of the Distribution Center, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for one of Coke Canada’s warehouse facilities. This role has several direct reports and a large number indirect reports. The primary responsibility is managing day‑to‑day activities to ensure the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of Coke Canada products. This role requires a combination of leadership, organizational skills, and a keen understanding of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
  • Execute on all best practices to achieve positive results for company Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure the warehouse is compliant with all Goods Manufacturing Practices and Goods Warehousing Practices
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget, through reconciliation and report on all Warehouse General Labourer accounts at month end budget meetings
  • Manage warehouse team leads and warehouse functions
  • Promotes the growth of people’s competencies and careers
  • Proactively hire, train, develop employees to meet the seasonal demands of the operation
  • Accountable to scheduling the warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility
  • Plans, implements, and communicates change initiatives to meet annual budget requirements (Performance improvement)
  • Drive year over year improvements in relation to inventory. BDL (Brakage, Damage & Loss of Inventory) & FEFO (First Expiry, First Out)
  • Builds trust with unionized employees and collaborate with the Union Committee to uphold positive relationships. Support in all matters pertaining to the CBA
  • Secure company assets and uphold the maintenance requirements of the facility and equipment
  • Champions a culture of Zero is Possible and drives safety initiatives to meet company safety targets
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to support long‑term strategic infrastructure initiatives and projects
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years warehouse/inventory experience required
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with union leaders and fostering positive working relationships
  • Requires experience managing lead supervisory level employees
  • Intermediate PC and database skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of Ontario occupational health & safety, labour, and employment standards to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Ability to manage a 24/7 operation (flexing onto different shifts)
  • Experience leading large teams through transformational change
  • Business acumen and solid presentation skills for multiple audiences
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Lean Six Sigma would be an asset
  • Forklift certification a plus
