Workplace Arrangements

This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 2 days a week for an 8:00am - 5:00pm schedule with a one-hour lunch.

This role is a full-time contract opportunity. The contract will run from date of hire to October 30, 2026.

Role Purpose

To drive profitable growth by centralizing GT’s pricing strategy and deliver promotional planning efficiencies across all divisions simultaneously and across all channels (print/digital flyer, loyalty, in-store).

What You'll Be Doing
  • Pricing & Promotions – execute centralized GT pricing strategy and realize promotional GM$ recapture/growth; support price index reporting and action plan development to achieve company objectives
  • Achieve center of excellence through: price perception management, optimize promotions through predictive promotional modeling, integrate promotional planning as an input into Category & GTM plans
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (merchants, marketing team, franchise operations, store owners & managers) on promotional planning and price management processes to reduce complexity and improve efficiencies
What You'll Bring
  • Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in similar or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Similar work experience in retail environment preferred.
  • Solid experience with leading a team, coaching, developing and empowering direct reports through high-touch leadership skills
  • P&L and Budget management required.
  • Strong analytics, reporting and creative problem solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Strong understanding of metrics and reporting.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task. Appreciation for a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong planning, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
