About the Role
CASA Mental Health is seeking a dynamic Manager, Information Technology (IT), to oversee our IT operations, ensure that our infrastructure can grow seamlessly with our business needs, and spearhead our transition to cloud-based services. The Manager, IT, will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement within the organization.
The Manager, Information Technology, will:
- Lead daily IT operations, ensuring systems and services are reliable, secure, and well supported.
- Oversee administration of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, Defender).
- Support cloud and on-prem infrastructure, networking, and endpoint environments.
- Ensure strong cybersecurity practices, including access controls, MFA, endpoint protection, and security awareness.
- Manage end-user support services and improve service delivery and documentation.
- Partner with leaders and staff to understand technology needs and recommend practical solutions.
- Manage IT vendors, contracts, and licensing.
- Track and manage IT budgets, assets, and renewals.
- Support technology projects and organizational change initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong technical knowledge of network, hardware, software, computer operating systems, protocols and standards.
- Proven experience in IT management, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and security.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Exceptional end-user service orientation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, information technology or related field.
- Five years of progressive experience in an IT management or leadership role.
- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Conditions of Employment
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Intervention Check. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
- Experience in healthcare, public sector, or regulated environments is an asset.
- CISSP or equivalent certification is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
