Overview

Our client within the renewable energy industry is seeking a Manager, FP&A who can add immediate value to the leadership team.

This position reports into the VP, Finance and you will act as the main key resource on aspects of annual budgeting and project finance in addition to presenting results to the senior management team. You will ensure that all department budget information reports are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. The Manager, FP&A will be partnering with the sales & marketing and operations departments.

Responsibilities
  • Leads robust business planning through accurate budgeting / forecasting
  • Performing monthly analytics to explain actual vs. projected expenses
  • Responsible for financial plans to understand the revenue and cost drivers of a business
  • Summarize and contextualize financial results
  • Identify & lead process improvement
  • Strategic business partner who leverages relationships with Senior Level Leads to drive financial planning
  • Assisting with Sales and Marketing projects, process improvements and new reports
  • Providing quality and timely technical support work for Sales and Marketing
  • Completing monthly payments and accrual entries
  • Continuously seek new ways to leverage business data to offer fresh insights and aid decision making
  • Conduct advanced financial analyses to support ad-hoc requests utilizing complex scenario planning
  • Translate business strategies, initiatives and projects effectively into financial modeling
  • Assisting with monthly \'actual vs. budget\' variance analysis
  • Providing technical assistance for budget and actual headcount reports
  • Manage senior finance analyst
  • Present results to the senior management team
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills and experiences
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel using pivot tables and v-lookups
  • Experience using ERP software – SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics suite
  • Experience using reporting software – OneStream, Adaptive Planning, Hyperion
