Position Summary

The Manager, Content and Marketing plays a key role in bringing the CareRx brand to life through compelling content and thoughtful marketing execution. Reporting to the Director, Communications and Marketing, this hands-on role is responsible for producing clear, engaging and audience-specific messaging across a range of channels, ensuring alignment with brand standards and tone of voice. A key focus of this role is conveying the value CareRx delivers to long-term care and retirement home communities—and the residents they serve.

Role Accountabilities

Content and Campaign Planning and Execution
  • Develop engaging, high-quality content that supports CareRx's business objectives and brand vision while connecting with internal and external audiences.
  • Plan, execute and measure integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, targeting home operators, residents and families, and other stakeholders, to drive demand generation and engage both new and existing customers in the senior care space.
  • Support recruitment and employee engagement efforts through compelling storytelling and social media marketing.
Events and Tradeshow Marketing
  • Lead the planning of CareRx’s presence at industry tradeshows and events, working closely with the Business Development and Client Engagement team to align goals and maximize impact.
  • Provide oversight and support to the Marketing Specialist on event logistics, including vendor coordination and on-site execution.
  • Review and guide the development of event-specific messaging, branding and promotional materials created by the Brand and Creative Consultant.
Proposal and Copywriting Support
  • Assist in writing and editing various customer-facing and employee-focused communications.
  • Provide proofreading and copyediting support of clinical newsletters, monthly employee newsletter, social media content, event ads and eblasts, website copy and other materials to ensure consistency and alignment with CareRx’s messaging.
  • Maintain the brand voice across all written materials.
Measurement and Analysis
  • Track and analyze the performance of content and campaigns using available analytics tools.
  • Monitor engagement, reach and lead generation to assess impact.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance future campaigns.
What You Will Bring to The Team
  • University degree in marketing, advertising, digital media or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, content development and / or advertising. Work in the healthcare, pharmacy services or senior care space is preferred.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Skilled in digital ad platforms, social media marketing, content creation and website management.
  • Proficient in Campaign Monitor, Salesforce and other CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a changing environment.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Location: 320 Bay Street 1-2 days per week
