A leading agribusiness company in Altona is seeking a Mechanic/Millwright for maintenance tasks on plant equipment. The role involves collaboration with various staff, ensuring safety compliance, and participating in an on-call rotation. The schedule for this role is Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm with 30‑minutes unpaid lunch break.
The hourly rate for a Mechanic is $34.37 and for Millwright is $41.59.

The Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright will perform maintenance tasks on plant equipment as assigned. This includes but is not limited to servicing pumps, conveyors, bucket elevators, centrifuges, presses, flaking mills, pellet mills. Rebuilding gearboxes, valves, some welding, machining and fabrication. They will also be responsible for housekeeping of work areas and other duties as assigned.
