Job description
LNI Childcare Learning Centre is seeking F/T Early Childhood Educator Assistants
  • Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA)
  • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
  • Wage: $22.50~$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
  • Number of Positions: 2
  • 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Assist with proper eating, dressing, and toileting habits
  • Prepare snacks and set up rooms for lunch and rest periods
  • Maintain equipment in a daycare centre
  • Inform the early childhood educators or supervisors of the observations of the children
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including activity areas, common areas, and washrooms

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: 1~2 years of experience in childcare is required
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required
  • Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate, and E.C.E.A Certificate
