Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Highland Health & Family Development.

The LPN Home Support Team Leader/Primary Care Nurse coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Community Health Workers, overseeing the implementation of client care plans, providing training and evaluation of personal care techniques, providing advocacy services, and functioning as a member of the interprofessional team. This role applies best practice to provide competent, safe, and ethical care for people and their families in settings such as physician practices, homes, schools, and communities.

The Home Support Team Leader/Primary Care Licensed Practical Nurse performs assessments, plans, and implements and provides personal and nursing care. The LPN administers oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures. The scope of the LPN’s skills varies according to the predictability of outcomes for the given population and is conducted in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols.

Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotation)
