Responsibilities
  • Welcome all customers and set expectations.
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen.
  • Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
  • Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
  • Use technology accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume, maintaining exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tool usage.
  • Proactively explore root causes of issues, forward‑think, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations exceeded, and solve problems.
  • Multitask, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
  • Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
  • Take pride in store appearance, help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
  • Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Be resourceful, self‑motivated, with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • State Licensure.
  • Optical dispensing experience.
  • Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Awareness of current fashion trends.
  • Selling skills—ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
  • Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
  • Embrace new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service and retail experience.
