Job description

Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Part-Time)

Overview

Clutch is looking for a Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team in a part-time weekend role. You will work alongside our reconditioning team to ensure vehicles meet high mechanical standards, performing inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs.

This is a part-time weekend role (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00am – 6:00pm) with the option to transition into full-time employment.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform Clutch standardized vehicle inspections (stationary and road tests)
  • Diagnose and assess vehicle issues and damage
  • Perform Ontario Provincial Safety Inspections
  • Make recommendations about vehicle repairs and the best course of action
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance, such as oil changes, suspension, and brake jobs
  • Create documentation of repairs and estimates
  • Adhere to and continually help improve Clutch’s high mechanical standards
We’re Looking For
  • Red Seal or equivalent certification or training
  • Experience working with a variety of car brands (domestic, import & European)
  • Team player above all else
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
  • Desire to learn new skills
  • Comfortable using technology (Google Drive, Slack, etc.)
  • Valid Driver’s License (Clean Driver’s Abstract)
