A day in the life of a Legal Account Manager :

  1. Educate all branches in assigned region as required on recovery techniques, legal process, and procedures.
  2. Stay organized and manage deadlines with all required legal and administrative duties.
  3. Manage your region’s revolving monthly PCO inventory to review and flag as “pre-lit” / ” legal”.
  4. Manage recovery portfolio of written off loans through action and activity; Phone calls, text messages, emails, required legal action including service of legal documents.
  5. Proceed with legal action on delinquent accounts through the Small Claim Court process.

What we are looking for :

  • 1-2 years of related experience in a similar role.
  • 1-2 years Collections experience (Asset).
  • Post-Secondary Education preferred (College or University).
  • Full Driver's License with access to vehicle.
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, self-motivate, and work independently.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office / SharePoint (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with people at various levels across the organization.
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability for accuracy.
