The Role: We are looking for a Lead Game Manager to lead collaboration on and help manage the day‑to‑day live operations for the Battlefield franchise. This role will specialize in leading the team that will set up and maintain all of our live service content, from engagement events, monetization systems, messaging, and more. You will collaborate across Product Management, Production, Engineering, Online, Ops, and QA to coordinate and deliver exciting seasonal content to our players. Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Game Managers to make sure updates to the live game are done on time and with quality.
  • Own live service setups utilizing internal tools for our project, including engagement setups, like implementation of mixes, modes, rewards, and assets.
  • Collaborate with our global development team to ensure effective game setup and implementation, which includes teammates in Europe.
  • Collaboratively build and execute live operations strategy to maximize player engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Manage the planning, tasking, and execution of live game content with partners in Art, Design, and other key cross‑functional partners.
  • Develop operational plans and processes, and maintain operational documentation for new and existing features and strategies.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and surface insights to the team to shape strategies to improve overall player experience.
  • Generate reports and provide actionable insights to the game team for ongoing improvements.
  • Propose and advocate for tool, feature, and process improvements to improve efficiency and in‑game results.
  • Monitor and report on competitor and industry trends in support of providing the team with strategic insights that contribute to product strategy.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of release management and/or live operations experience.
  • Experience on a console/PC environment is a plus.
  • Can understand and excel with development/technical software environments.
  • Exceptional business judgment with a strategic and analytical attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Agile/SCRUM‑style development.
  • Strong attention to detail and motivation to pursue executional excellence.
  • Experience communicating both creative and technical feedback to diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Passion for FPS games and a deep understanding of player behavior.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
