Job Overview

As a Kitchen Manager, you will bring the heat literally and figuratively. You’ll lead by example on the line, making sure every dish hits the plate looking and tasting awesome. You’ll oversee daily kitchen operations, support the team, and keep the vibes high while maintaining the highest food quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, speed, and quality.
  • \>Supervise and support kitchen staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked kitchen.
  • Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.
  • Inventory, prep lists, and ordering.
  • Train new cooks and help build a strong, cohesive back‑of‑house team.
  • Work with the General Manager to ensure every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.
  • Manage inventory levels, place orders, and minimize waste.
  • Schedule BOH staff to meet labour targets and ensure coverage.
Qualifications
  • Experienced in a high‑volume kitchen (minimum 1 year required).
  • A natural leader who sets the tone for a positive, productive work environment.
  • Passionate about food quality, teamwork, and doing things the right way.
  • Calm under pressure and solution‑oriented in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented.
  • Certified in FoodSafe.
