Job description
Overview

Are you a QA Analyst with a deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems? We are seeking an intermediate QA Analyst for a leading Canadian financial services organization. You will join a dedicated team responsible for the maintenance and support of critical IAM solutions. Your primary mission will be to own the entire quality assurance process, from strategy and planning to execution and reporting. You will ensure the stability and integrity of core identity platforms like SailPoint IdentityIQ while contributing to the continuous improvement of testing practices. This is a long-term contract until March 2027. The role is offered on a remote basis, with the requirement for occasional in-person meetings in Montreal or Quebec City.

Advantages
  • Secure a long-term contract (approx. 17 months) in the critical and growing field of cybersecurity and IAM.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a remote role while maintaining valuable in-person collaboration with your team.
  • Work with industry-leading IAM platforms like SailPoint IdentityIQ and modern planning tools like Azure DevOps Test Plans.
  • Play a key role in defining and improving the quality assurance strategy for essential security services.
  • Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary Agile team at a major Canadian financial institution.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the quality assurance strategy for the IAM solutions portfolio.
  • Define and coordinate the execution of functional, integrated, and user acceptance test plans using tools like Azure DevOps Test Plans.
  • Diagnose, document, and help resolve issues related to the proper functioning of the solutions, including participation in post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and end-users to interpret test results and define further testing needs.
  • Analyze test data and reports to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Guide development peers on automated testing best practices and promote a test-driven approach within the team.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst role.
  • Core Domain Knowledge: Proven experience in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) industry is a mandatory prerequisite.
  • Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with an enterprise identity management platform such as SailPoint IdentityIQ is required. Experience with Azure/Entra ID is also needed.
  • Methodology: Strong understanding and practical application of Lean/Agile principles in a team context.
  • Testing Skills: Demonstrated ability to design effective test plans at various levels (functional, integration, UAT) and a good understanding of test automation.
  • Languages: Proficiency in French is mandatory, with a functional level of English for communicating with anglophone vendors.
  • Note: Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
Summary

We are looking for a rigorous and collaborative QA Analyst to ensure the quality of critical Identity and Access Management solutions. This is a unique long-term, remote opportunity for a professional with a background in IAM and SailPoint to join a stable and growing team. If you are passionate about quality and security, and thrive in a multidisciplinary Agile environment, we invite you to apply.
