Your Opportunity

Build your skills and accelerate your career through BDO Canada’s Indigenous Student Program, designed for self-identifying Indigenous post-secondary students—including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. Join BDO Canada in Summer 2026 as a Co-op or Intern in one of the following service lines:

  • Assurance
  • Business Services & Outsourcing, Financial Reporting & Insights
  • Financial Advisory Services, Risk Advisory
  • Firm Wide Services, Internal ESG
  • Management Consulting, Public Sector Strategy and Transformation
  • Personal Debt Solutions

Students will have the opportunity to gain work experience in one of these service lines and participate in our Indigenous Student Program—connecting with members of BDO’s Indigenous Pillar community throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, participating in local and national Indigenous community events, and ongoing mentorship from Indigenous leaders at BDO Canada.

  • Assurance and Business Services & Outsourcing, Financial Reporting & Insights: You are currently working towards a degree focused in accounting with a long-term goal of becoming a CPA
  • Financial Advisory Services, Risk Advisory: You are currently working towards a relevant degree/diploma in social sciences, economics, or business, or another relevant degree where you have experience conducting research and/or writing research papers
  • Firm Wide Services, Internal ESG: You are currently working towards a post-secondary business program with an emphasis on ESG
  • Management Consulting, Public Sector Strategy and Transformation: You are currently working towards a degree focused in commerce, public administration, political science, economics, social sciences, or a related field
  • Personal Debt Solutions: You are currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting
Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this role is:

  • BC: 46k - 50k per annum
  • ON: 38k - 64k per annum
