NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - Child Caregiver

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job starts January 6, 2026

Language requirement: French or English.

Location: JoLe… lives in Hampstead, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood with a school and parks nearby. The major intersection is Fleet Rd and Cavendish Blvd. The city bus is easily accessible nearby.

Responsibilities

• Care for a 2-year-old and a newborn
• Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers
• Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise
• Bathe children as needed, and prepare them for naps
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
• Plan, prepare and serve meals; kitchen clean-up is also required
• General housework including laundry
• Dusting rooms to maintain a clean environment

Qualifications

• Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
• Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
• Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
• Experience with newborns is an asset
