We are currently searching for an experienced Immigration Coordinator to join the Global Immigration practice at KPMG. The Immigration Coordinator is responsible for assisting employees of multi‑national companies in obtaining business visitor visas and work permits in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent multi‑tasking skills and an ability to communicate effectively with government offices, local specialists, HR representatives and employees.

The Immigration Coordinator is responsible for managing work permit related files for numerous countries and assisting with business visitor visas as needed.

What you will do
  • Assist clients in preparing and filing applications for business visitor visas and work permits
  • Manage document procurement and legalization processes
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients and employees
  • Research immigration processes and communicate with visa offices and local specialists
  • Coordinate and prepare filings ensuring adherence to timelines and standards
  • Develop processing strategies and timelines to achieve objectives
  • Prepare and submit accurate support letters and required forms
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with firm and local guidelines
What you bring to the role
  • Minimum 3 years of global immigration experience or Foreign Trained Lawyer
  • College or university degree considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
