Our Identity and Access Management team is looking for a seasoned team member who is passionate about Cyber Security and has experience taking access management to the next level.

You are a builder, influencer, and change agent

In this exciting role, you will be working alongside a team of high-performing Identity and Access Management professionals who are skilled and knowledgeable in all facets of Cyber Security and technology. You will administer user accounts and privileges within the organization’s identity management space, work closely with the IAM team to ensure the right people have access to the right resources, and collaborate with internal teammates and external contractors and vendors to understand and implement access requirements.

Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for an IAM Analyst. This role can be based out of one of our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities
  • Fulfill day-to-day user provisioning and/or terminations.
  • Arrange and administer security measures to restrict unauthorized use of national data systems and databases.
  • Enforce security requirements to protect data against unauthorized, accidental, or deliberate modification, disclosure, denial, and destruction.
  • Assist the team in developing and maintaining authorizations and profiles using established naming conventions.
  • Ensure adequate documentation of regular activities.
  • Assist in the training of new employees.
  • Provide Tier 2 level support for troubleshooting issues related to IAM platforms / vendors (Privileged Access Management and Identity Governance and Administration).
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security Roadmap Delivery team to ensure successful implementation of IAM roadmap.
  • Yearly upskilling to stay current with IAM changes.
  • Creation and enforcement of segregation of duties as dictated by audit and compliance.
  • Monthly access reviews to meet audit requirements.
  • Review and automate processes where possible; continually improve IAM processes.
  • Review legacy applications to ensure compliance and security requirements are met.
  • Liaise with ePMO and internal stakeholders on project integration and implementation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of IAM processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  • An undergraduate degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 3-4 years of relevant IT, Cyber Security or IAM experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Proficiency with a Privileged Access Management platform (such as CyberArk).
  • High level of familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication, Single Sign-On.
  • Experience in Identity Governance and Administration.
  • Knowledge of retail technology environments (desirable).
  • Willingness to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced setting; strong prioritization and communication skills.
  • Experience providing Tier 2 support for IAM technologies/vendors.
  • Ability to enable automation and work with Jira/Confluence and VPN is an asset.
  • Experience with Access Controls Security and Identity management platforms (Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure MFA, CyberArk, SailPoint); SAP experience is an asset.
  • 24/7 operations rotation.
