SDAC is seeking an HVAC Mechanic responsible for performing preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting, and repairing problems, and completing minor construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, such as HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair problems with equipment and systems, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Complete minor construction projects, such as painting, flooring, and drywall repair.
  • Order and maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
  • Document all work performed.
  • Comply with all safety procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and computers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
