Role Overview

Work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build the organisation and people capability. Working with internal and external centres of expertise to shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports designated area of the business to develop a people strategy to support the aims, objectives and tactical challenges of these areas.
  • Working with the wider HR team, the business and employees to co-create the right people products and initiatives.
  • Plan, forecast and broker HR activity – overseeing delivery by calling on the expertise of others.
  • Facilitate discussions around change and transformation.
  • Work with the wider HR team to deliver products that encourage and support our people owning their development by providing them with a range of different options, resources and experiences.
  • Work with leaders to identify and develop their talent, ensuring we create numerous career defining experiences for our people.
  • Work with our leaders to define people priorities that align with the experience we want to create for our people.
  • Provide business insight to HR and HR insight to the business.
  • Own the employee lifecycle and key people practices for functions of responsibility.
  • Work with relevant HR Centres of Excellence to build our insight in how people feel and what’s important to them.
  • Provide development and coaching for managers to ensure they know how to get the best out of, and for, our people.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • At least 3 years experience in a senior HR Business Partnering type role.
  • Have a hands on approach and support other areas of the HR team whilst the team is growing.
  • Ability to question and challenge leaders to get to the root of people and business issues.
  • Team Player committed to contributing to the success of HR as well as the business.
  • Experience working in multicultural teams.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • A progressive non-bureaucratic approach to HR.
  • The ability to work in an agile way with a user focus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to facilitate projects and initiatives.
  • Substantial HR Business Partnering experience within a commercial HR environment.
  • Proven track record of turning business plans into people capability strategies and actions.
