Compensation

Prysmian is committed to offering a competitive total rewards package to attract, retain, and motivate our talent. This includes a competitive base salary aligned with the relevant market and results‑based variable compensation that rewards performance. Our salary range for this role is $87,000 - $117,000, reflecting the anticipated base salary for a fully qualified candidate at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and market conditions.

Position Summary

Reporting to Senior Manager Human Resources Canada, the Prescott Plant Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) brings a passion for people excellence and continuous improvement together with a solid manufacturing experience. He or she is responsible for managing and overseeing all HR activities at the facility and providing strategic HR guidance to Operations leadership at the plant. The HRBP guides the effective and efficient implementation of HR best practices including employee relations, talent management, staffing and communications.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate, inspire, lead and work with the leadership team to develop, support and evaluate programs, processes and policies that ensure our Prysmian’s values are embraced and lived by all team members.
  • Responsible for delivering facility communications that includes formal meetings, informal small group meetings, focus group, surveys, and related activities that drive engagement activities throughout the organization.
  • Innovate and integrate HR practices around critical business needs, minimizing disruption to the manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure application of corporate and local human resource procedures, practices and initiatives.
  • Together with the Regional Talent Acquisition team, manage the recruitment of different types of positions within the organization locally and support sourcing, interviewing and onboarding.
  • Lead and coach the plant HR Generalist and ensure an effective and efficient functioning of the HR team on site.
  • As an active member of the HR Canada Team, contribute to the development of HR excellence in Prysmian Canada.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements
  • Desire to drive continuous improvement of HR service delivery.
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience of building HR and people solutions with a bottom-line result.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of Ontario employment standards and other relevant legislation.
  • Communication (written and oral) and influencing skills to support and drive organizational change.
Education
  • College degree or BS/BA in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Relevant HR accreditation
Experience
  • Five years of Human Resource generalist experience in a demanding manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated successful partnership with leadership teams in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
