We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, organized self-starter to join our HR-People & Culture Team to support the Americas region. This position is critical in providing great HR support and creating a positive employee experience.


The ideal candidate is self-driven with strong organizational skills, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Candidates with a strong sense of accountability and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.



Responsibilities


  • Acts as a point of contact for employee general queries including policies and procedures to employees or job applicants

  • Post job ads, coordinate candidates interview schedules, screens and other Talent Acquisition duties

  • Ensures compliance to state, fed, provincial laws regarding hiring practices and procedures

  • Assist in preparation of offer letters and contracts

  • Support pre-employment checks such as reference, background, and eligibility verification

  • May conduct employee exit interviews and provide general statistics including headcount tracking

  • Organize and maintain e-files and records

  • Assist the TA team to ensure timely and proper completion of onboarding documentation for new hires

  • Other duties as required



Requirements


  • Bachelor\'s or college degree preferred or high school diploma + relevant experience preferred; Excel proficiency including VLOOKUP and pivot tables required

  • Previous experience with HRIS; experience with Workday helpful

  • Knowledge of employment law in Canada and US preferred

  • Strong verbal / written communication skills; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, accuracy is essential, outstanding follow-through and attention to detail

  • Ability to work remotely and autonomously to meet required deadlines and accountabilities. Weekly office attendance for in person meetings may be required



Additional Skills (Advantageous)


  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) beneficial.
