The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Aide. The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the Manor and resident suites, ensuring safety, health and high‑quality housekeeping services for our residents. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning duties according to housekeeping routines
  • Keep records of cleaning tasks and sign‑off when completed
  • Use cleaning chemicals following written protocols and safety standards
  • Report any damage or maintenance issues in the building
  • Promote a healthy and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations
  • Follow Infection Prevention and Control standards and use proper body mechanics techniques
  • Assist with other housekeeping tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Who We’re Looking For
  • Minimum education equivalent to Grade 10
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written)
  • Strong time‑management skills and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including WHMIS and Infection Prevention and Control
