Blue Legal has partnered with a dynamic regional law firm in their search for an influential Head of Marketing & BD to join their team, based in their Hertfordshire office. The role holder will develop innovative marketing strategies that promote the firm’s services and brand on local, national, and international level. Management experience is required, as this role manages a small team.

The Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the firm’s services, brand visibility, client relationship, and acquisition strategies.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including content creation, PPC campaigns, lead generation, performance analysis, and SEO.
  • Manage the creation of compelling content for the firm’s website, e-newsletters, social media platforms, and other channels.
  • Organise and participate in both internal and external events.
  • Analyse effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights for strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with lawyers and practice teams to align marketing and business development efforts with the firm’s goals and strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

The Candidate:

  • Marketing & BD experience within the legal or professional services sectors.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, or a business-related field. CIM qualifications are preferred.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, PPC, GA4, and social media marketing.
