Job Title: Courier Driver (Warehouse Operator)

Location: Moncton, NB

Job Type: Full time, Temp to Hire

Shift: Monday to Friday , 8am-5pm

Wage: $2 1 .00/hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our client's Moncton-based team in a hybrid Operator / Relief Driver position. This is a hands-on, multi-functional role that combines facility operations with client service responsibilities. We are looking for a dependable team player who demonstrates initiative and is interested in building a long term career with a company. There is permanent placement opportunity for the successful individual.

Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations
  • Safe and efficient operation of forklifts
  • Sorting and handling of incoming recyclable materials
  • Operation of industrial shredders, ballers, and related equipment
  • Use of truck scales to record inbound and outbound loads
  • Shipping and receiving duties
Driving & Client Service
  • Acting as a relief driver to cover routes as needed
  • Servicing clients throughout Southeast New Brunswick
  • Driving city vans and straight trucks (Class 5, non-airbrake endorsed license required)
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license ( non-airbrake endorsed) with experience operating vans and straight trucks
  • Forklift experience (certification considered an asset)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment
  • Background in courier services considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to perform varied tasks in both plant operations and client service
Must successfully complete:

RCMP criminal background check

Mandatory drug screening (industry certification requirement)
