A leading logistics company is seeking a Full-Time Class 1 Driver in the Lower Mainland. This role involves transporting cargo between Richmond and Surrey while ensuring safety and efficiency. Candidates must hold a valid BC Class 1 Driver’s License, be able to lift up to 70 lbs, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Explore your next opportunity at a Fortune Global 500 organization. As a Full-Time Class 1 Driver in the Lower Mainland, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport cargo between Richmond and Surrey hubs, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient deliveries across BC and into Washington State.
In this position, you will drive UPS 28ft, 48ft, or 53ft trailers, complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and follow UPS defensive driving methods. You’ll provide outstanding service by delivering and picking up packages, reporting any vehicle issues, and adhering to federal, provincial, and state regulations.
Based out of Richmond (5960 Ferguson Road) or Surrey (19088 38 Ave), you’ll work Monday–Friday with schedule variations as needed. Safety, reliability, and a commitment to UPS standards are key to your success.
UPS offers a competitive package including guaranteed wage progression to a top rate above $36/hr¹, weekly pay, extended health/dental benefits, paid vacation, pension plan, employee stock purchase, and tuition-free training. Salary and benefits vary by location and experience.
