First Team Transport - White Glove Services are for the transportation of high-value products which require product inspection and on-site installation, First Team Transport offers white-glove services throughout Canada. Our clients in the Financial, Technology, Retail, and Healthcare sectors turn to our company for safe and secure transportation of products.

The Configuration Technician will be responsible for shipping and receiving inventory using inhouse and customer programs. This includes receiving and tracking inbound customer units for deployment; unpack, build and configuration of office electronics as required; prep and stage as per deployment schedule and following our standards and best practices. This position will also play a supporting role in other dock or warehouse projects and duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Manager, Warehouse in this role, you will:
  • Actively participate in Standard Operating Procedures based on customer specifications and requirements.
  • Work directly with customer service representative and clients
  • Enter and maintain inventory
  • Develop standards and best practices for the tools and technologies as part of a team.
  • Perform maintenance routines in a variety of environments
  • Meet all health and safety guidelines as required.
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment
  • Perform other general duties as assigned by Management
We are looking for a team member that has:
  • Experience in a fast paced, logistics environment.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with hand and small power tools is an asset
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem-solving
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with team members as well as Customer Service Representatives
  • Warehouse and inventory experience would be an asset
