  • Track work orders
  • Perform routine clerical duties
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Arrange for maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure accuracy of completed records and summaries
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Monitor workloads and locations
  • Perform general office duties
  • Resolve work problems
  • Co‑ordinate traffic flow
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports
  • Provide customer service
  • Advise vehicle operators of traffic and problems
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules, work orders and emergencies
  • Keep track of shipments
  • Maintain vehicle driver work records
  • Process and transmit information to vehicle operators
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
  • Respond to urgent calls
  • Schedule assignments and co‑ordinate activities of vehicles and drivers
