Qualifications

Applicable for occasional teachers with the required OCT qualifications.

  • Current elementary occasional teacher applicants first, followed by qualified external applicants.
Application Process

Applications are assessed against the listed qualifications. A minimum of three qualified applicants will be offered an interview. If fewer than three qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.

  • At least three teachers currently employed for the OCSD as an occasional teacher, possessing the required OCT qualifications and best meeting the criteria outlined in the posting.
  • A teacher who accepts an assignment must agree to complete the assignment as posted.
