We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our Forms team within eServices for Citizens branch. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Government of Yukon forms, primarily in digital format. Working closely with program areas, service designers, and technical teams, the role focuses on creating user-friendly online forms that improve service delivery for citizens. The position ensures all forms follow UX best practices and are brand-compliant, accessible, bilingual, and aligned with Government of Yukon’s digital service standards.

Essential Qualifications
  • Experience in designing and building forms in online and PDF formats.
  • Experience converting PDF or paper-based forms into digital formats with improved user experience.
  • Experience with Acrobat DC, Adobe InDesign, or similar tools for designing and formatting forms.
  • Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders, managing priorities, and ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Desired Knowledge, Skills And Suitability
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, service design, accessibility (WCAG), and content design.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies and data formats, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML, for building and integrating online forms.
  • Knowledge of API integration or connecting forms to databases and backend systems is an asset.
  • Experience in integrating forms with workflow or automation tools (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, Jira Service Management) is an asset.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) for designing and formatting forms.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple form requests simultaneously while adhering to standards and procedures.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new tools and processes, and to develop new skills quickly.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and delivering high-quality results.
