Skretting Vancouver location is seeking "Forklift Operator" for Vancouver location.

About the role

Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, storing and transporting of raw materials, packaging materials, supplies and finished goods, so that these be taken in storage in the prescribed manner and are available in time for production or shipping.

Responsibilities
  • Perform stock counts and support inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Receive, store, transport, and dispense raw materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods.
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy against shipping documents, report discrepancies.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials to designated storage or production areas, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all HSE and quality standards.
Skills and Expertise

Qualifications

  • Solid background in warehouse with 2-3+ years of experience and understanding of warehouse environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift operations (forklift certification is an asset)
Expectation from the Role
  • Knowledge of working in a safe way with understanding of safety aspects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Structured and organized approach
  • Team player with efficient team communication skills
  • This is a shift job: morning and afternoon mostly but may have night shifts if required
  • Interview Process: In-person interview followed by forklift driving test (10 mins test)
