Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to work in a warehouse in Burlington, ON. Candidates should have a valid Counterbalance forklift license and 1-2 years' experience in a material handling role. Responsibilities include safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading products, and using RF scanners. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)

Rate of Pay: $2 0 .00/hour

Available Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm Monday - Friday

Location: Burlington, ON

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for experienced Co unterbalance forklift operators to join our client's warehouse facility in Burlington. Our client is looking for candidates who can start immediately !

Responsibilities

• Safely operate propane Counterbalance forklift throughout the facility
• Load, unload and move product around the warehouse
• Use an RF scanner to receive product and enter into warehouse management system
• Communicate with drivers and peers about shipments
• Repetitively move product that weighs up to 50lbs
• Working at a fast pace, picking and packing orders to meet daily shipment quotas
• Other general warehouse duties as required

Experience

• Valid in-house or third-party Counterbalance forklift license required
• 1-2 years' experience in counterbalance forklift or material handler role required
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse and loading dock
• Experience using an RF scanner to receive product is preferred (not required)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
