The CPKC Co‑op Program offers a unique opportunity to gain experience with a large public company while contributing to projects that drive real change. You’ll analyze data, collaborate with industry experts, and help improve processes in real time. If you’re passionate about analytics and problem‑solving, this summer placement begins in May 2026.

Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
