Job description

Overview

Field Operations Summer Student - Brant Farrow. This 4-month full-time position runs May to August 2026 and is based out of Mossleigh field location, with an approximately 45-minute drive from South Calgary.

Responsibilities

• Compressor and process logging
• Checking chemical injection rates
• Data entry
• Completing wellsite inspections and repairing deficiencies
• Daily SCADA checks to confirm gas production rates
• Changing and submitting weekly gas rate charts
• Assist with various housekeeping duties around the plant and field
• Assisting with vegetation control and winterization activities

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related discipline (engineering preferred) and must be returning to school Fall 2026
• Strong safety mindset
• Proficient with MS Office
• Valid Alberta Driver’s license
• Ability to meet all physical requirements of the job
• Successful candidate will undergo required safety training: H2S, Standard First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSO common safety orientation
