About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager of Hosting Infrastructure to help us improve the health, performance, and processes around our production services and infrastructure.

Location: Remote-first (United States; BC & ON, Canada)

Job type: Full-time, Permanent, Exempt

Reporting to: Senior Director, Engineering

The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. Base pay ranges are organized into geographic zones; specific base pay within the range will be determined by location, experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

• Zone A: 175,800 - 247,700
• Zone B: 164,500 - 232,200
• Zone C: 154,200 - 217,600
• Canada (CAD, ON & BC)
• CAD 199,300 - 281,100

This role is eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts vary by career level and are based on company performance against established goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a distributed and diverse team of Infrastructure engineers responsible for keeping customer sites online, performant, and scalable.
• Promote new technologies, engagement models, and processes to scale systems in alignment with company objectives.
• Foster the development of team members and support their growth.
• Drive goal-setting and accountability for results.
• Shape organizational processes and collaborate with other Engineering Managers to improve support across teams.

About you

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams, with focus on people development and technical execution.

You’ll thrive as an Engineering Manager, Hosting Infrastructure if you:

• Have 2+ years experience managing and scaling infrastructure engineering teams in a growth environment.
• Have 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure, Site Reliability, or Software Engineer with distributed systems experience.
• Have expertise with core technologies such as AWS, Pulumi, Cloudflare, Linux, Node, MongoDB, and Nginx.
• Have experience with internet-scale challenges (caching, performance, auto-scaling).
• Value accountability and can deliver tough feedback with respect and kindness.
• Have experience managing agile teams and adhering to software delivery cycles.
