Job Overview

Electrician – Contract position based out of Port Colborne, Ontario. This role is for a mechanical and electrical services company, providing subcontracting services to facilities across Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington, Brantford, Cambridge, and Ingersoll. The end client is a new industrial / chemical manufacturing company operating at a high standard of quality and GMP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build and install custom automated equipment.
• Run conduits and perform wiring tasks.
• Mount generators and other electrical components.
• Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.
• Engage in panel building and installation of wiring and PLCs.
• Assemble, wire, and mount electrical systems.

Essential Skills / Qualifications

• Expertise in automation and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Possession of a 309 license.
• Experience with PLCs and electrical machine building.

Workplace Details

Location: Port Colborne, Ontario (onsite in Niagara Falls, ON). Job Type: Contract. Pay: $42.00 - $55.00/hr.
